Program Overview
- Complete the LACTAGEN program ONLY ONCE.
- After successfully finishing the Lactagen Program, no more supplements or pills are needed to enjoy dairy products.
- Lactagen DOES NOT create more LACTASE enzyme in the body; instead it focuses on building-up health flora in your intestines to better handle breaking down the lactose (the sugar in dairy products).
- Once the 38 day program is completed, the healthy flora in your digestive system continue to help break down the dairy products you consume.
3 Phases of the Lactagen Program
-
First 18 days
Lactagen soothes and calms down the irritation and inflammation in your intestinal tract.
-
Next 16 days
Lactagen gradually reconditions and retrains the large intestine by strengthening the micro-flora (healthy bacteria) to better handle breaking down the ndigested lactose.
-
Final 4 days
Finally, the Lactagen Program re-introduces dairy into your diet—comfortably and painlessly so that the micro-flora now has the ability to consistently break down the dairy on its own.
How Lactagen Specifically Works
To understand how Lactagen works, let’s review the digestive process and lactose intolerance. When you consume any dairy product, it travels from the stomach into the small intestine where the enzyme “lactase” goes to work breaking down the sugar in dairy, called “lactose”. The broken-down lactose then goes to the large intestine where good bacteria called micro flora digest the broken-down lactose and turn it into nutrition and fuel for the body.
When you’re lactose intolerant this process doesn’t work. The dairy you consume is not broken down in the small intestine because your body lacks the enzyme lactase. The lactose then travels to the large intestine where it becomes fermented; causing gastric symptoms of gas, diarrhea, and cramps.
The Lactagen program returns the digestive system back to normal by reconditioning and training the micro flora in the intestine to better break down the lactose. So, even though lactase isn’t breaking down the lactose in the body, the micro flora becomes more equipped to handle the lactose load consumed. Lactagen works in such a method that the micro flora continues to break down the lactose well after completing the Lactagen program.
An analogy of this process would be an eco-system: Micro flora act like seaweed and catch particles that flow by them. Lactagen works towards growing more “seaweed” to live and develop in your digestive system.
Instructions
Lactagen comes in a pleasant tasting powder form. You mix it in water or juice and take it for 2 1/2 weeks with dinner and then another 2 1/2 weeks with breakfast and dinner.
Research
Published clinical research shows that the Lactagen program works long-term to dramatically reduce symptoms of lactose intolerance. In a double-blinded clinical study conducted by leading medical researchers, Lactagen was proven to show a statistically significant reduction in lactose intolerant symptoms which include gas, diarrhea, and cramps. Specifically, the results of the 3 month trial showed that 9 out of 10 subjects on the program dramatically reduced their symptoms after completion of the 38-day program, while those on the placebo showed little to no reduction in symptoms.
The clinical trial results further prove that Lactagen’s program significantly reduces the symptoms of Lactose Intolerance. You can review one of Lactagen’s clinical trials at Lactagen Clinical Research Download (PDF).
Chris Landon, M.D. Executive Director of the clinical trial, states:
My evaluation and analysis of the clinical results showed that Lactagen not only alleviated symptoms, but also allowed consistent adaptation and digestion of dairy long after the subjects completed the Lactagen Program.
Lactagen simply allows dairy to be incorporate back into the diet. My professional and medical opinion is that Lactagen works and I am recommending Lactagen to all my patients.

- A: It is recommended that you try and avoid dairy as much as possible. Having a small amount of dairy (1 serving per week) while on the program won’t affect the outcome of the program. It is recommended that you try and avoid dairy products while on the program because the consumption of dairy products could aggravate your digestive symptoms and cause symptoms. You should not see full results of the program until after you complete the whole 38 days.
The beginning stages of the Lactagen Program are designed to calm, soothe and restore balance to your digestive system before the retraining begins, so you should do your best to support a calm environment for your stomach.
